Talented and savvy, Susan Santos is a jewelry expert, brand ambassador, and trunk show extraordinaire with more than 28-years of professional experience working in the jewelry industry. Her level of expertise ranges from retail sales of luxury brands, diamonds, and colored gemstones to marketing, and management.
An expert trunk show host, Susan provides her services as well as her jewelry line to retail managers around the Orlando area and St. Thomas, USVI. Her company, Luxury Jewelry Unlimited, provides retail managers of various five star resorts with the unique opportunity to offer experiences to their guests on property as well as the ability to boost their retail sales with a jewelry line that Susan formulated specifically covering a broad spectrum of customers.
There is something within her collections for everyone. Susan formulated four different collections within her jewelry line. They range from classic or traditional pieces to formal, even trendy pieces. Her collection is evolving all the time. Each piece was hand picked or created to fit perfectly into any woman's wardrobe and accommodate every price point.
Susan is a true people person who does not measure success by financial rewards, but through the long lasting relationships she builds with her clients and collaborators. Using her unparalleled negotiating skills, Susan was able to secure vendor relationships to present her jewelry pieces directly to clients and guests.

Growing up in Trinidad, Susan fell in love with the jewelry and had a passion for design at a young age. With the support of her loving parents, John and Ina, Susan gained the confidence to pursue her dreams of working in the industry. She started to work in Port -Of-Spain, where she had the opportunity to explore the industry and gain experience in sales, marketing and designing custom design pieces for clients. Susan attended St. Joseph's college in Port-of-Spain. After graduating she moved to the island of St. Thomas, which is considered the Jewelry Mecca of the Caribbean. Fast paced, the city of Charlotte Amalie attracts customers and visitors daily.
She explored it all.
In 2006, Susan opened her first retail store, where she was given the opportunity to explore her true potential and skills. She created a business plan that captured all clients from hotel guests to cruise ship passengers to locals. She serviced her clients with well-manufactured pieces of jewelry, which she created, either by collaborating with several jewelry designers or her own styles including hand picked pieces.
Naturally gifted at the art of communications Susan quickly made connections with diverse clientele, and even established herself on the shopping network in St. Thomas, Shotalkvi.com.
Susan also conducted trunk shows at five star resorts including Marriott Cove, St. Thomas and Ritz Carlton via the shopping network. This was a marketing technique she used to showcase her products and the presence of the retail store in St. Thomas. Susan was determined to learn all aspects of the Jewelry industry. She even pursued a jewelry trunk show onboard the cruise ship as an independent contractor in 2015.

Susan built her trusted name in the Jewelry industry by establishing one-on-one relationships with her customers. Networking and marketing came second nature to Susan, who uses her ability to expand her business beyond her greatest dreams.
"I am very detailed oriented. That is one of my skills that I developed that made me successful in the jewelry industry. I paid attention to everything going on around me and I am very analytical .I live consciously on and off the sales floor .Now I can present this amazing opportunity to any corporation or organization to provide a unique service."
In 2012, Susan landed a management job at renowned Colombian Emeralds International. Susan enjoyed working in a fast paced environment and bringing superior communication skills Susan was able to assist in providing her staff with training on the product and sales training, mentoring sales team to reach both their personal goals as well as professionally. Assisting them daily on sales techniques and proper presentations on the sales floor.
"In order to be a good manager, you need to be a good leader. That means you need to proactively be able to function without being micro managed. I always supported my staff. I worked with them on their presentations as well as assisting in the closing of sales. My goal was to build a healthy and productive work environment, two most important factors for optimum results for success and growth. It is important to work with every one equally. I believe in building strong bridges through my art of communications with others."
Susan still believes in supporting others success.
"I like to see people achieving their goals. I am not in a race with anyone. I own my own race and I draw my own finish line. When you do not compare yourself to others you become unique and indispensible because your individuality reveals itself. Your originality cannot be replaced. You have to think differently. Investing in yourself is true job security."
Today, Susan draws upon her experience in St. Thomas to implement her unique business model through luxury Jewelry Unlimited. She continues to build relationships with customers, corporations and popular tourist destinations. Susan is listed on the Jewelers Board of Trade. Her goals are to grow her business and help others grow and recognize their true potential.
Susan has no plans on slowing down.
Susan is proactively involved in pursing her long-term goal of building her collection and advancing her business. She hopes to expand to different cities doing Trunk shows across the county as well as other tourist destinations.
Additionally, Susan is collaborating with women's apparel company Halftee to work on the jewelry portion of the business. Susan always believed in destiny and in recent times discovered an empowered woman along her journey. Halftee owner, Noelle Nieporte, is an empowered woman and her work shows her passion for life and her unique and inspiring messages she portrays to the world.
A friend told Susan many years ago that she portrays that daring and bold persona, and that life is an adventure to explore your true potential, what you were created to do. Now meeting Noelle has inspired Susan further in what she believes in: "people come into your life for a reason, a season, a lesson or a lifetime."
Susan is still exploring ways to work with Noelle on how they both can use their work and passion, goals to be a work in progress and inspiring message to the world.
One of Susan's major accomplishments in life and being a successful individual is her motherhood. Susan raised two kids Chantal Boodoo her daughter, who is currently pursuing her career as a doctor, and her son, Antonio Boodoo who is also pursing his career in aviation. Susan has invested her time as a mom in supporting her kids to also reach their goals in life. Bonding with her kids has made her a successful mother as well. These accomplishments Susan considers more important than financial gains. She continues to support both her children and believes that being around them is magical. She feels truly inspired by them.
Susan feels that the universe has given back to her in the most amazing ways and seeing pure happiness and joy unfolded before her eyes is truly an amazing life.
